Autumn

It’s already November, and I have been busy with enameling. Supplies are expensive but the final products are amazing. I’m having so much fun learning and creating. My hope is that my online customer base will find them as beautiful as I do. I’ve been working on my photography so that customers can almost see just how amazing they are, but they’re more stunning in person – they have to be touched and tried on. It’s really fun to watch people check them out. I have some necklace concepts in mind but I haven’t had time or money to really invest into making anything, yet.

Discovering how to enamel and seeing my plan go through has increased my confidence and excitement with my jewelry shop. It’s so good to be excited and passionate about it again. And it’s so therapeutic, it is nuts. I am currently gearing up for a home party in early December. I’m creating vintage inspired pieces, earrings, enameled bangles, and there’s so much more to do; I need to plan out my displays, price everything, create a catalog page for my hand stamped designs, and think out everything to make sure I’m ready in a month.

Exploring this new chapter with jewelry design is reminding me that I can do anything I set out to do just like my supportive husband always tells me. He is very encouraging, supportive, and thinks enameling is really cool. I appreciate his interest and he almost made me cry when he told me that I was truly an artist. He is awesome, and his opinion matters second to God’s~

So as I find time, I will try to blog more. I am planning on entering a piece to a jewelry design magazine in hopes of being published. I can only try, so I will. The due date for the submission is mid-January so I’ll have to write about that for sure. As always, God is blessing me daily, and I’m so thankful for my amazing family and friends.
